Attackers Targeting Unpatched Adobe Flaws

The vulnerabilities exist in the most recent versions of the applications and are under active attack. Adobe disclosed the vulnerabilities on Monday, saying that the company s security staff had received reports of the new attacks and were investigating. The vulnerabilities are a JavaScript flaw in Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.2 and earlier versions. The number of attacks are limited and most likely targeted in nature, according to Adobe. The vulnerability is a vulnerability in the JavaScript function within Adobe Acrobat [Reader] itself.
