WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says he stands by an earlier pledge to face trial in the U.S. He is urging federal investigators to name the exact charges against him. Assange is currently hiding out in the Ecuadorian embassy in the United Kingdom. The FBI has suggested in court documents that it’s pursuing a case against Assange for his involvement with WikiLeaks. Assange called Chelsea Manning’s release a “strategic victory” when the Obama administration has cracked down on journalists and whistleblowers circulating sensitive information. The DOJ declined to comment on the matter and wouldn’t say whether the government is seeking Assange’s extradition.”]
