Apple Shares Some Browsing History with Chinese Company

Apple acknowledged it s using safe browsing technology from Tencent, which has ties to the Chinese government. Security and privacy experts have criticized Apple’s relationship with Tencent. Apple is already caught fire for making other decisions to appease China over its political views by hiding the Taiwan flag from the iPhone App store in China and hiding the Hong Kong emoji on iOS devices that set the safety flag on the iPhone and its Hong Kong App store. The company has already been criticized for making a blind spot in terms of user privacy.
