Apple Counters FBI’s Backdoor Demand as Unconstitutional

Apple’s latest court filing challenges the constitutionality of the government’s demands that Apple help unlock Syed Farook s phone. The government contends this is a one-time request, while Apple counters that its compliance would set a precedent that could be used in perpetuity. Apple stands by a legal declaration that computer code is the equivalent of speech.
