App Stores Pull Meet24 and Meet4U Dating Apps For FTC Violations

Meet24, FastMeet, and Meet4U apps have been removed from the Google Play Store. The apps allow children under the age of 13 to use the apps without their parents’ permission. They are required to follow the Children’s Online Privacy Act and remove any personal information associated with the apps. The three apps were created by the company and have been downloaded over 1,000,000 times. They have been released without permission to use them in the U.S. and are free to download again.
