Up to 80 million individuals’ personal information was exposed in the Anthem breach. The health insurer has issued an alert to its members, warning them to beware of related scams. Anthem has promised to send letters – via the U.S. Postal Service – to everyone affected by the breach by Feb. 20. The insurer also warned members that the data breach is being used as a lure by online and telephone scammers. Breach is being investigated by the FBI, along with digital forensic investigation and breach-response firm Mandiant.”]
