New project Upspin aims to provide a global name space to name all your files. Given an Upspin name, a file can be shared securely, copied efficiently without “download” and “upload” Users can access the contents of this file by using Upspin services to evaluate the full path name. Upspin names usually identify static static files and directories, but may point to dynamic content generated by devices such as sensors or services.
