This evening, I’ll be on a panel discussing the role of customer privacy and trust in innovation. Panelists will each give perspectives, from different vantage points, on the data breach epidemic and the gauntlet entrepreneurs should be prepared to run. Panelist views will range from venture investment in innovation and security, to data breach laws and regulations; to watchdog media; and data security and protective technologies. All the panelists believe the world and business to be a better place with openness and sharing, but that the task is not for the faint of heart.”]
