Intelligence and law enforcement agencies in the U.S. have escalated the fight for a back door in encryption algorithms in the wake of the recent attacks in Paris. There are three reasons an encryption back door wont work. The bad guys that intelligence agencies want to be able to spy on and monitor would simply violate those rules.
