Amazon, Wal-Mart Smacked By DDoS Attacks

Amazon s web site was sluggish and, at times, completely down on Wednesday evening. The same fate greeted Wal-Mart, Expedia, and a number of smaller sites. Bad actor obtained passwords for servers, home routers, and smart devices by scanning internet for devices open to the Telnet port.
