Advanced volatile threat: New name for old malware technique?

Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) or advanced volatile threats (AVT) is a stealthier attack vector, says one security company. Triumfant CEO John Prisco: “Get ready to know a new and more devastating attack — the AVT” AVTs are the equivalent of the military adding a stealth aircraft to the battlefield, Prisco said.
