Adobe Reader update patches vulnerabilities, removes bundled Flash Player

Adobe Systems released new versions of Adobe Reader 10.x and 9.5.x on Tuesday. The company also made changes to the product, including the removal of the bundled Flash Player component. Adobe also canceled its quarterly update cycle for Adobe Reader and Acrobat and returned to its previous patch-as-needed policy. Users are advised to install these updates as soon as possible, Adobe said in its APSB12-08 security bulletin. All of the vulnerabilities fixed in the newly released versions could be exploited by an attacker.”]
