In a lot of interviews, both the writer and the subject know exactly what will be discussed. But Adam doesn t let things go that way. Ask him about privacy or threat modeling and you d better be prepared to talk about economics, politics or art. Be prepared to be challenged, he says, and learn something new from every one of those conversations. I first met Adam well before he joined Microsoft and have interviewed and corresponded with him dozens of times over the years.
