Accused CIA Leaker Faces New Charges of Leaking Information From Prison

Joshua Adam Schulte, 30, has been issued three new charges related to leaking classified information from prison. He was indicted over four months ago for masterminding the largest leak of classified information in the CIA’s history. The former CIA computer programmer was arrested in August 2017 and initially charged with possession and transportation of child pornography. He has pleaded not guilty to the previous charges, and has repeatedly denied any of his involvement in the Vault 7 case. The Vault 7 release exposed secret cyber weapons and spying techniques that the U.S. used to monitor or break into computers video streams.
