Russian hackers were able to spy on computers used by NATO, EU and Ukraine. This is the latest in a five-year campaign by the group nicknamed the “Sandworm Team” Security firm iSight Partners believes this was espionage rather than crime. It’s not known if the hackers are employed by the Russian government, nor if they are linked to the Ukraine crisis. Microsoft is now aware of the vulnerability in Windows that allowed it to peer into the computers of NATO, the EU and energy and telecommunications companies.”]
