A Turkish hacker scores a record jail sentence of 334 years

A 26 year-old Turkish man has received a record sentence for overall 334 years, ha was sentenced for defrauding 54 customers through identity theft and bank scam. Onur Kopak was arrested in 2013 for operating a phishing website that impersonated bank site, tricking victims into providing their bank details including credit card information. This is the most severe sentence for committing a cyber crime, Albert Gonzalez received 20 years in prison for orchestrating massive bank fraud in the U.S. meanwhile Silk Road mastermind Ross Ulbricht was sentenced to life in prison.”]
