A Russian hacker gave away millions of email credentials for social media votes

Hackers have stolen hundreds of millions of Gmail, Microsoft and Yahoo email accounts. Hackers say they have found more than 272 million unique credentials for more than 1.17 billion accounts. Majority of the accounts reportedly came from users of Mail.ru, Russia’s most popular email service. Hold Security says it has found 42.5 million of the credentials he has never seen before, including some of them never before. The hacker is known as “the Collector” and is believed to be part of a larger breach.”]
