Kickstarter for a charger and battery pack called “Cabin” is shooting for a “MagSafe-like” charger. Instead of a Lightning-port plug that has a magnetic MagSafe-esque connector on the far side, it would snap the phone into the battery pack or dock. There are plans for a little Lighting cable adapter that makes it look and function like a mini MagSafe cable, but this wouldn’t let you charge your phone with your laptop cable or anything because it’s not the same kind of power.”]
