Apple plugs 10 QuickTime code execution holes

Apple today released QuickTime 7.6.2 with fixes for a variety of security vulnerabilities. Some of the vulnerabilities could lead to arbitrary code execution attacks. The update covers a total of 10 documented vulnerabilities that could be exploited via booby-trapped movie, video, image and audio files. QuickTime is available for Mac OS X, Windows XP and Windows Vista, and is available on Apple’s iOS 7.5 and 7.7 software for iOS 6.3 software, 7.4 software.
