The Inter-American Committee conducted a workshop against Terrorism of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Dominica for national cybersecurity strategy for the Dominican government. The three-day workshop aimed at developing national cybersecurity strategies and provisions of technical training on incident response and cyber forensics.
Expert advice was given on approaches to the development and implementation of a national strategy, and the drafting of key components of the strategy was worked on. The government of Dominica has taken the initiative to enact cyber-security legislation as a first step to combating this growing economic threat. The commonwealth of Dominica pledged to continuously commit to the development of the cybersecurity strategy.
