Cisco updated the security advisories for three vulnerabilities patched in early August warning customers that its Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) team is aware of public exploit code being available. The company also patched over 30 critical and high severity vulnerabilities discovered in its Integrated Management Controller (IMC) and Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) software. All three were reported by the same security researcher known as ‘bashis’ through the company’s VDOO Disclosure Program. Luckily, Cisco’s PSIRT says that it’s not yet aware of any malicious use or public announcements of exploit code for these critical vulnerabilities patched on Wednesday.
