Intel Updates NUC Firmware to Patch High Severity Bug

Intel issues a high-severity issue that could be exploited to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition, or information disclosure. The issue affects multiple small-form-factor computers from Intel, including NUC Kits, and Compute Cards. Intel also fixed a bug in the Processor Identification Utility for Windows that can show details about graphics, chipset, and the technologies supported by the processor. The company also released a software update for Raid Web Console 2 and the Computing Improvement Program.
