Internet Traffic Hijacking Linux Flaw Affects 80% of Android Devices

Around 1.4 BILLLLLION Android Devices Affected with Linux kernel flaw. Around 80% of Android devices in use today are vulnerable to attacks, enabling hackers to spy on your communications without even compromising your network via man-in-the-middle attack. Windows and Macs are not affected by the Linux flaw; Google says engineers are already aware of the vulnerability and areto fix the issue, a Google representative told Ars Technica. The vulnerability (CVE-2016-5696) is complicated and difficult to exploit, but the risk is there especially for targeted attacks.
