South Korea-based popular cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb admitted yesterday that hackers stole $19 million worth of cryptocurrency. Hackers compromised EOS and XRP wallets and transferred around $13 million to his newly-created accounts. The hacker distributed the stolen digital assets to other cryptocurrency exchanges via ChangeNow, a non-custodial crypto swap platform does not require KYC/accounts. Last time the popular exchange was hacked in June 2018, $31 million, and in July 2017, $1 million of EOS was stolen.
