DeKalb County’s property appraisal website was hacked and listed every property owner as “Hacked by Red xD” A spokesman insisted none of the data, including property values, sales and tax information, was compromised. County officials said they think the suspect is a professional hacker and not an angry taxpayer. The county’s information technology staff has repaired the site and is now investigating. The same hacker also attacked portions of the University of Pennsylvania’s website, according to online records. The U.P.C. university’s website was also hacked.
