63,000 College Students Hacked at University of Central Florida

At least 63,000 students at the University of Central Florida were hacked this week. Students’ credit cards, medical records, and grades were not affected. UCF set up a web page to answer questions about the data breach. It’s not the first time the school has been forced to notify people of a breach in the past. The school says it notified people to change their passwords so they didn’t have to wait for months to get the information from the hacker. The university says it’s working with law enforcement to find out what happened.”]
