An IT disaster recovery plan could have been more effective in the film. Three characters in the Jurassic Park franchise stuck out to me as examples: Robert Muldoon (game warden), Ray Arnold (computer expert) and Dennis Nedry (disgruntled employee) could have had a DR in place. A DR would have provided some structure on how to notify all affected parties and what to expect during the reboot process, as well as what to avoid during the process. This is no different from a real-life audit scenario, where clients or stakeholders want reassurances.”]
