Your iPhone Can Be Hacked With a Modified Charger

Researchers from Georgia Institute of Technology have created a three-inch-square charger capable of installing malware onto an iPhone. The Mactans charger is based on a Texas Instruments BeagleBoard, which retails at $45. The researchers claim that it can compromise iOS in under a minute, and that the malware infection is persistent and tough to spot. The research is to be presented at the Black Hat security conference in late July and will be presented by the researchers at the conference in July.”]
