WiFi Alliance teases four new features for WPA3 WiFi authentication protocol. The new standard will protect WiFi networks from brute-force attacks. The first official draft of the new standard is expected to be released later this year. The WiFi Alliance says it will take some time before devices will be able to buy devices that support the new protocol. WPA2 was hacked by security researcher Mathy Vanhoef last fall, when he disclosed details of KRACK vulnerability in the WPA protocol, a vulnerability that affects billions of devices.
