Microsoft has started to display alerts in Windows 7 stating that the operating system will reach end of support on January 14, 2020. This alert links to a page that then recommends users upgrade to Windows 10. January 14 is the last day Microsoft will offer free security updates and technical support for computers running Windows 7. Users who do not wish to see this alert can click on the Do notRemindMe checkbox to no longer see the alert. If you would prefer the program to not run at all, you can remove scheduled tasks named Notify1 and Notify2 under the MicrosoftWindowsEnd Of Support folder.
