Windows 11 may switch to a Black Screen of Death crash screen

Windows 11 may soon switch to a Black Screen of Death for operating system crash screens rather than the blue screen that has been used for many years. Microsoft is now testing the use of a black background for BSOD screens. Windows 11 will continue to use a blue background for crash screens, but you can configure a Registry setting to enable the black screens. To see the new screen, you will need to trigger a crash by entering the following command in an Elevated Command Prompt or a PowerShell (Admin) prompt.
