WiFi Security Shredded via KRACK Attack

Most WiFi networks that use WPA2 appear to be vulnerable to key reinstallation attacks, a security researcher says. US-CERT issued a Sunday alert about the threat of key reinstation attacks against WPA 2. The flaw affects everything from Android, Linux and Windows to Apple, Apple, MediaTek, and Linksys, among other systems. To prevent the attack, users must update affected products as soon as security updates become available, says researcher Mathy Vanhoef at Belgium’s KU Leuven.”]
