EU-US Privacy Shield is the trans-Atlantic data transfer agreement that might replace Safe Harbor. Safe Harbor was the agreement that allowed multinational organizations to store European citizens’ personal data in the US. The European Court of Justice struck down Safe Harbor in October. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is expected to be ratified by European Parliament this spring.”]
