President Emmanuel Macron has committed to rebuilding the cathedral, which will need to be rebuilt. There are obvious lessons to learn from the fire that destroyed One Meridian Plaza in Philadelphia in 1991, which was a case study on how to safely deconstruct a building in a very risky area.
