Encryption is used to hide the content of Internet traffic from unauthorized readers. The strength of a VPN tunneling depends on the type and strength of encryption. We look at how it’s used by VPNs and what makes them tick. The best example of encryption is probably AES, which the US government classifies information in three categories: Confidential, Secret or Top Secret.
