Personal details of more than two million people have been compromised. Names, addresses, birth dates, and bank account details have been stolen. Vodone is taking action to prevent this type of attack again, including reinstalling servers and changing passwords and certificates of all administrators. The company has not confirmed whether the information was stolen from an internal server or if it was stolen by an outside of the company or not from an employee of Vodafone in order to prevent it from happening again.
