Virgin Super Hub 2 security bug act now to close the hole

UK ISP Virgin Media’s Super Hub 2 and 2ac routers have a security flaw. The problem relates to the way the routers software design implements the creation of a configuration backup. While this file is encrypted the key is embedded in the binary. This key is the same for every configuration on every router which means that anyone figuring out how to crack it will have access to every router using the same firmware. Virgin users running the 2016 Super Hub 3 (made by Arris) are not affected by the flaw.”]
