Vendor Security Alliance Formed to Improve Cybersecurity of Third-party Providers

The Vendor Security Alliance (Vendor Security Alliance) aims to help member companies evaluate the security and privacy of third-party providers. Uber, Docker, Dropbox, Palantir, Twitter, Square, Atlassian, GoDaddy, and Airbnb are among nine technology companies to join the group. The group aims to standardize and create a benchmark of acceptable cybersecurity practices vendors need to comply with. The VSA will make the first questionnaire available to the public on the 1st of October 2016.”]
