US Withdraws Summons to Unmask Administration Critic

U.S. federal government withdraws summons against Twitter seeking to unmask anonymous account critic. Twitter had filed a federal lawsuit seeking to block an administrative summons. The summons sought IP addresses, user names, phone numbers, account logins and mailing addresses for @alt_uscis. The ACLU says the right to speak anonymously against the government is protected by the First Amendment. On Friday, the government withdrew the summons and Twitter dropped its lawsuit, which resulted in Twitter dropping its lawsuit against government.”]
