US official defends domain seizures for copyright violations

U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement seized 82 websites in November. ICE director John Morton said the seizures were necessary to project copyright holders. Most of the controversy centered around about five sites focused on music or movies, Morton said.
