The U.S. Department of State is offering rewards of up to $10 million for information about cyberthreats to the nation’s critical infrastructure. The Rewards for Justice program was created in the 1980s to help gather information that could be used to help counter terrorism threats. The money will be awarded “for information leading to the identification or location of any person who, while acting at the direction or under the control of a foreign government, participates in malicious cyber activities against U.N. critical infrastructure in violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act””]
