US Navy Memo Raised Cyberscurity Concerns About DJI Drones

U.S. Army ordered that the use of drones made by Chinese manufacturer DJI be discontinued in 2017. Now, a second classified memo has been released, raising cybersecurity concerns. The memo is now available online through the National Security Archives Cyber Vault project. A DJI spokesperson says the company’s drones are not designed for military use, but has made security improvements since the memo was released, the spokesperson says.
