US and UK Issue Joint Alert on Russian Cyber Activity

U.S. and UK cyber, law enforcement and intelligence agencies issue joint advisory on Russian cyber activity. Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, or SVR, targets government networks, think tank and policy analysis organizations. The agencies say the SVR will continue to attack, so organizations need to understand the threat it poses. The SolarWinds supply chain attack that resulted in follow-on attacks on about nine government departments and 100 companies was attributed to APT29, also known as The Dukes, Cozy Bear and Yttrium.”]
