UPEK Brings Fingerprint Security Device to Mac

UPEK has announced that its Eikon Digital Privacy Manager now works with the Mac. The device plugs into a USB port and enables you to swipe your finger across a sensor rather than having to remember passwords. It works in conjunction with Protector Suite software installed on the Mac — the software works with Mac OS X v10.4 or later. A “preview version” of the Protector Suite is available for download for a pre-release version of the software. It costs US$39.99.”]
