University of Hawaii agrees to settle class action lawsuit in the wake of five data breaches. The university will provide those affected with two years of credit monitoring and credit restoration services. The breaches occurred at UH Manoa, UH West Oahu, Kapiolani Community College and Honolulu Community College. The most recent of the five breaches occurred on July 1, 2011, when campus employees reported that files containing personal information were missing from a secured storage area.
