Uninsured, small Australian businesses breached at nearly twice the rate of the US

Symantec’s Cyber Security Survey found that 19 percent of SMB owners had experienced some sort of cyber attack. This was almost twice the rate of a similar survey of US SMBs by small-business online community Manta, which found that 1 in 10 had experienced a data breach despite 97 percent believing that they werent at risk of experiencing such a breach. Of those with insurance, 19 percent said they had made a claim; of those with such policies, 19 per cent said they’d had a claim.”]
