Uninstall or Disable PGP Tools, Security Researchers Warn

Vulnerabilities could reveal plaintext of encrypted emails, European security researchers say. PGP/GPG and S/MIME encryption techniques used to encrypt emails and data are vulnerable to the flaws. Experts recommend disabling PGP tools that decrypt PGP emails by default until the flaws are resolved. Experts say attackers often exploit the flaws within hours after they’re published.
