The first session of the fifth UN Group of Governmental Experts on Developments in the Field of Information and Telecommunications in the Context of International Security will be held on 29 August – 2 September, in New York, USA. The Group was established following Resolution 70/237 (December 2015) of the UN General Assembly, with the aim to continue the work of the previous four groups. It is expected to promote common understandings, existing and potential threats in the sphere of information security and possible cooperative measures to address them.”]
