Uber reportedly paid hacker $100,000 to destroy stolen data to keep it secret. The 20-year-old Florida man, with the help of another, breached Uber’s system last year. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi has reportedly fired Chief Security Officer Joe Sullivan and one of his deputies, Craig Clark, who worked to keep the data breach quiet. Last week, Uber announced that a massive data breach in October 2016 exposed personal data of 57 million customers and drivers.
