U.S. Policymakers Politicize Cyber Security

Congress passed legislation to protect Americans from HealthCare.gov data breaches. The bill passed the House 291-122, with 67 Democrats joining the Republicans. The White House and the Democratic Party are expected to oppose the bill. The legislation would require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to get in contact with people whose personal information may have been compromised by the sites security breach two days after it was discovered.
